The shopping list . . .

Alright, so today was another day of shopping! We started off by heading to our new favorite store, "Jenny's Place." Then, out of nowhere, we saw a new bride and groom taking pictures for their wedding. After that, we all had dinner at the local mexican restaurant and then Ellie played with her new friend in the hotel playroom. This has been a super fun (and super exhausting) day!

Welcome to the zoo!

Well, we did go to the zoo today and it was a lot of fun! However, as we have discovered over the last few days, Ellie takes her first nap of the day right around 10:30, which is exactly when we arrived. She only napped for about 45 minutes, so she did get to see some exciting things.

Speaking of naps, it seems to us that Ellie's orphanage had it all wrong. They said she woke up at 8:00 am (which is about right), took a nap around 1:00 pm and went to bed around 9:30 pm. Well, yesterday, she took a 45 minute nap around 11:00 am, a one hour nap around 2:00 pm, went to bed around 8:15 pm, and woke up at 7:50 am. This has been her consistent schedule all week this week. Anyway, on to the pics!

"I'm ready for the zoo, mommy! What's a zoo, mommy?"

"Check the map, daddy!"

Wait for it . . .

And Ellie is alseep . . .

So cute!

It is difficult to see, but in the very center of this pic there is a racoon. Yes, a racoon in the Chinese zoo . . .

Just chillin ' . . .

Yes, those are pigs . . . pigs at the zoo . . .

After the zoo, we went to the local Wal-mart-type store, "Trust Mart" . . .
We could have ordered some fresh turtles for lunch . . .

Or we could have had some dried lemons. They were a best seller according to the sign.

Better yet, we could have ordered roasted chickens (with the heads still attached).

"All that playing is hard work . . ."
